Brazil midfielder Andreas Pereira has no doubts his side's heavyweight fixture with Nigeria at the New Zealand 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup will not be an easy one.
The South Americans have never lost to Nigeria at the U-20 level but the Manchester United starlet expects the Flying Eagles to give a strong showing in New Plymouth at 2am Nigerian time on Monday.
Pereira, who could also have played for Belgium having grown up there, took to Twitter on Sunday to charge his teammates for the big match.
"Ready to start the FIFA World Cup match for Brazil," the Manchester United Young Player of the Year wrote on the social media site. "It will be a very tough match against Nigeria. Go Brazil."
The Brazil versus Nigeria clash in Group E is the headline match-up for Monday, the same day the group's other teams, North Korea and Hungary, meet.
In other New Zealand 2015 matches on Monday morning, Germany face Fiji as Uzbekistan battle Honduras in Group F.
