Burkina Faso coach, Idrissa Traore, has his eyes firmly placed on securing a berth in the African Nations Championships in Rwanda despite his side trailing Nigeria 2-0 from the first leg match played last weekend in Port Harcourt reports, Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Stallions would have conceded more goals in the encounter if not for the poor marksmanship on the part of the Super Eagles strikers, but gave a good account of themselves in the game.
And Traore is confident they can the tables against their more illustrious opponents.
Traore also told Completesportsnigeria.com here in Ouagadougou that playing in front of their fans at the August 4 Stadium will be an added motivation for the players.
“Like I said after the game in Nigeria, there was nothing special about your team,” the coach told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“We have prepared well for the game and I’m sure we can turn things around against Nigeria.
“We have the advantage of playing at home now and I believe that will work in our favour.”
