Bursapor manager Paul Le Guen has absolved his Nigerian duo of Michael Agu and William Troost-Ekong of any blame for Friday's Turkish Super Lig season opener 1-0 defeat to Basaksehir FC.
Bursapor failed to pick a point away from home despite the firepower of Agyeman Badu, but Le Guen said that his new signings will come better in subsequent matches.
The defiant French coach said he was not prepared to press panic button and ring changes in his selection.
"I've seen players play better the minute they are going in. My players are new, but they are good players. – mostly Badu and Agu," Le Guen told Skorer.com.
"Almost half of the team have been trying to solve the problem of adaptation in the past few days. We did not see a tough season ahead of us, but we still have a good team on the field. "Unblock the FIFA World Cup with ExpressVPN the #1 Trusted Name in VPN
