CAF Confed Cup: Nasarawa United Ease Into First Round

Nasarawa United booked their passage into the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup after holding Generation Foot of Senegal to a goalless draw in Dakar on Saturday.
The Solid Miners won the first leg 2-1 two weeks in Abuja courtesy of goals by Tayo Fabiyi and Seun Sogbeso.
The won the preliminary round contest 2-1 on aggregate.
Kabiru Dogo’s men withstood constant pressure from their hosts in the encounter but the defence led by home-based Super Eagles defender, Samson Gbadebo, stood firm for the entire duration of the game.
They next face Algerian side, Constatine, in the first round.
