By Adeboye Amosu: Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca have contacted the Confederation of African Football, CAF, to see if they can field their new forward, Chisom Chikatara in their next CAF Champions League group fixture against Egytian side, Al Ahly.
Chikatara only linked up with Wydad on Sunday after the former African champions and his former club Abia Warriors settled their contractual disputes.
"They (Wydad) are eager to have the player available for their next game in the Champions League, and are working really hard to sort that out,"a source close to the player disclosed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
"They hold the player in high esteem and believe strongly that he can help make the difference against Ahly."
Wydad who sit at the top of the standings with seven points will host the Red Devils on Wednedsay, July 27 in Casablanca.
Both sides battled to a goalless draw in the first leg last Saturday in Alexandria.Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
