Enyimba defender, Chima Akas is wary of Etoile du Sahel forward, Ahmed Akaichi, but insists his side will stop him from scoring in their Sunday's CAF Champions League match, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Akas first played against the lanky striker early in the year at the African Nations Championship in Rwanda where Akaichi scored the equalising goal for Tunisia in their 1-1 draw with Nigeria in a group game.
And ahead of this Sunday's CAF Champions League, second round, first leg fixture billed for the Adokie Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, the left back has warned that the players posed a big threat to their aspirations of making it to the group stage.
"Akaichi is a deadly forward, and we must be at our best to stop him from scoring against us on Sunday,''the former Shooting Stars and Sharks defender told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I'm confident in the ability of our defenders to stop him from getting a goal in the game.
"We are also not going to pay attention on him alone as there are other good players in the Etoile team.
"It's going to be a tough game, but we hope to scale through the hurdle"
