—Arrive In Kaduna For Eagles Clash
By Johnny Edward:
Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers opponents, Chad, arrived in Kaduna Friday morning in crisis ahead of Saturday’s Group E clash at the Ahmadu Bello stadium.
The Chadian FA are reportedly yet to pay the players’ bonuses for the CEMAC Cup they won recently and, according to completesportsnigeria.com Chadian source Nang Yadji Natabe, the squad got ejected from their hotel in Paris, where they prepared for the Super Eagles match.
“The Chad team have got some problems about money,” Natabe informed completesportsnigeria.com.
“Players were not paid enough. They were even put out from the hotel where they stayed because the delegation didn’t pay the bill.”
Chad, coached by Frenchman Emmanuel Tregoat, defeated Guinea 2-1 in preparatory game last week in Paris.
