Performed his defensive task well and also made some crucial interceptions especially in the second half.

CHIZOBA AMAEFULE 7/10
Put up his best showing in the competition. He helped keep the Algerians at bay especially in the  second half when they went in search of the equalising  goal.

SEGUN ODUDUWA 5/10
Looked shaky at times and scored an own goal in the first half.

NDIFREKE EFFIONG 6/10
A better showing from the left-back, but will need to work on his concentration.

AZUBUIKE OKECHUKWU 7/10
He was an influential figure in the midfield helping in moving the ball forward and also providing support for the defence.

USMAN MOHAMMED 7/10
The FC Taraba midfielder was full of running in the game, always tracking back to help the defence and also supporting the attack.

TIONGOLI TONGARA 5/10
Failed to impress on the night and was duly substituted in the second half.

OGHENEKARO ETEBO 9/10
Unarguably the man of the match. The Warri Wolves forward scored twice to help Nigeria win the game. He is the tournament's top scorer with five goals.

Fluffed two opportunities of getting on the score sheet. The youngster however put up a lively display in the game.

Looked way below his best and never really made much impact in the game.
