The home-based Super Eagles played a 1-1 draw against Tunisia in Group C at the on-going Africa Nations Championship in Rwanda on Friday.
Chisom Chikatara put Nigeria ahead to register his fourth goal of the tournament before Ahmed Akaichi drew Tunisia level.
Ifeanyi Mathew came close to giving Nigeria the lead on eight minutes but his shot from a free-kick which almost resulted to an own goal against Tunisia, was cleared
In the 14th minute, Tunisia dangerman Akaichi turned his marker but his right-foot strike was parried away by Ikechukwu Ezenwa for a corner-kick.
Ezenwa was called to action again in the 27th minute, making another important save.
In the 37th minute, Chisom Chikatara failed to connect a right wing cross from Okoro.
On the 44th minute, Akaichi headed the ball into the net but the goal was overruled by the referee, claiming the ball had crossed the line.
In the start of the second half, Eze went off for Kalu Orji.
And on 51 minutes, Nigeria eventually broke the deadlock through Chikatara, who was teed up by Okoro.
Chikatara had the chance to add to the score but he failed to take advantage.
On 69 minutes, Akaichi, who had been lively, made it 1-1 after shooting past Ikechukwu Ezenwa from the left.
In the 70th minute, the Eagles made their second substitution, with Bartholomew Ibenegbu replacing Usman.
Akaichi almost grabbed his second but Kalu was on hand to clear off the line.
With 11 minutes remaining, Ezekiel Bassey was introduced for Prince Aggrey for the Eagles final substitution.
Substitute Ibenegbu came close to score for Nigeria in the 82nd minute but missed the target.
Nigeria are now on four points from two games while Tunisia are on two points.
The Eagles will take on Guinea in their final Group game on Tuesday 26th inside the Stade Rubavu, while Tunisia will face Niger Republic.I Couldn't Satisfy My Wife In Bed, But These Simple Solutions Really WORKED! - Click Here To See My Breakthrough.
