Cote d’Ivoire bounced back from their opening day loss to Rwanda by beating Morocco 1-0 in their second game at the African Nations Championship on Wednesday.
Zakry converted a 45th minute penalty to give Cote d’Ivoire the important win at the Amahoro Stadium.
The win moves Cote d’Ivoire to second in Group A on three points behind leaders Rwanda.
They will take on Gabon in their last group game and must avoid defeat to stand a chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, Morocco will hope to secure their first win of the tournament against Rwanda who are already through to the knockout stage.
