The Championship for African Nations qualifier between the Super Eagles and Stallions of Burkina Faso will now hold on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
The match was originally slated for Sunday at Adokiye Amiesimaka Sports Complex, Port Harcourt.
The venue however remains unchanged.
Completesportsnigeria.com understands the shift in date was at the instance of CAF who has consequently communicated it to the Nigeria Football Federation.
Ademola Olajire, Head of Media, Nigeria Football Federation confirmed the shift in date for the match but did not give further details.
“Yes, the match has been shifted slightly.
“It will now be played on Saturday at the same venue,” Olajire said.
The slight shift in date has forced NFF to adjust their arrangement more so with the Stallions expected to arrive in Nigeria on Thursday.
