Hosts Rwanda have qualified for the quarter-finals of the African Nations Championship after defeating 10-man Gabon 2-1 in Group A.
Ernest Sugira put Rwanda ahead in the 42nd minute of the first half.
Sugira made it 2-0 for the hosts after he grabbed his second goal in the 47th minute.
In the 55th minute, Boupendza reduced the deficit, making it 2-1.
But in the 58th minute, Gabon’s Yannick was sent off after he received his second yellow card.
Rwanda’s next game is against Morocco on Sunday.
