Usman Mohammed and Bature Yaro will join the home-based Super Eagles camp next week Monday after they were granted extended break following their participation at the just concluded Africa U-23 Nations Cup, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The team resumed camping ahead of the African Nations Championship on Monday in Abuja.
Mohammed played in all of the U-23 Eagles’ five games at the AFCON, while Bature made four substitute appearances in the competition.
Aside from the duo, Rangers defender, Mathew Etim, is also expected in camp next week following his wedding last weekend.
The team will train in South Africa ahead of the competition and will play a friendly game against Cote d’lvoire on January 9 in Pretoria.
The Eagles will open their campaign against fellow West Africans, Niger Republic, on January 18, and will later face Tunisia and Guinea in the group.
