Chelsea’s Nigerian teenager Dominic Solanke has joined Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem on a one-year loan deal, the Eredivisie club announced on Tuesday
He is the fifth Chelsea youth to join Vitesse on loan.
The 17-year-old Solanke was thought to have a shot at staying with Chelsea for the new season when he was given the No.35 jersey last week.
But Jose Mourinho now apparently feels the forward needs to go out on loan to develop.
Solanke joins Danilo Pantic, Isaiah Brown, Nathan and Lewis Baker at Vitesse, Chelsea’s partner club who also previously had Kenneth Omeruo on loan.Jiji.ng the cheapest online shopping in Nigeria.
