Abia Warriors striker Chisom Chikatara says he will bide his time before penning a deal with another club, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The striker few months ago signed a three-year deal with Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca which was later cancelled after the club failed to fulfill their contractual obligations.
Chikatara told Completesportsnigeria.com that though he is keen to ply his trade outside the shores of Nigeria, he will wait for the right moment to move abroad.
“A lot of clubs have expressed interest in signing me, but I’m not in a hurry to leave Abia Warriors for now,” Chikatara, the top scorer at the 2016 African Nations Championship in Rwanda, told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“I was disappointed with what happened with the Wydad deal and I want to take my time before committing myself to another club.
“It’s my dream to play for some of the biggest sides in the world and I hope to achieve that very soon.”
