Chile 2015: Mexico Stop Ecuador, To Face Golden Eaglets In Semis

The Golden Eaglets will take on Mexico in the semi-final of the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile on Thursday.
The Mexicans booked their place in the last four after defeating Ecuador 2-0 in Monday’s quarter-final clash.
Mexico who are two-time winners of the U-17 World Cup, took the lead through Claudio Zamudio who struck in the 41st minute.
On 55 minutes, Bryan Salazar doubled their lead when he scored from the penalty spot.
The Golden Eaglets defeated Mexico twice at the 2013 U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates on the way to winning the trophy.
They spanked the Mexicans 6-1 in the group stage, before thumping them 3-0 in the final.
