Chisom Chikatara was named Man-of-the-Match after his brilliant performance in the home-based Super Eagles' 4-1 win against Niger Republic at the on-going Championship for African Nations here in Kigali on Monday.
The Abia Warriors striker was awarded with a plaque and the match ball.
Coming on as a second half substitute for Tunde Adeniji, Chikatara doubled the Eagles lead in the 74th minute off a fine assist from Osas Okoro.
In the 82nd minute, Chikatara restored the Eagles two-goal lead after Niger reduced the deficit.
He put the game beyond the Nigeriens by slotting home Nigeria's fourth goal and also completed his hat-trick.
