After 90 minutes of football produced no goals from either sides, the game went into extra-time.
Just five minutes into the first half of extra-time, Cote d’Ivoire opened the scoring through Boua.
With three minutes remaining in the first half of extra-time, Atcho doubled Cote d’Ivoire lead.
And on 112 minutes, Serge Yao Nguessan sealed the win for Cote d’Ivoire.
In the first quarter-final game that was decided earlier, hosts Rwanda crashed out after losing 2-1 to Democratic Republic of Congo.
