I prefer Obagoal, then any other stirker in the national team. I believe him & Osas can make a good impart at the world cup.& as for yakubu, i think he should be coming from the bench. 100% support at South African.

Football rekindles our happiness nigeria super eagle has turned a new leaf coach largerback can make it to semi final but NFF should allow him to dicharge his duty. Martin and Osaze are relevant in the squad to south africa

If Nigeria were to be rekoned with at the forthcoming world fiesta game [football],every Nigeria best players should be invited no matter their cadre in football.for example, these two chosen player of under 17 must be invited to camp. That is the biggest mistake made by former super eagle coach suaibu Amodu that promugate his failure.Largerback should afford this stupid mistake.
    Thanks

Thanks a lot complete sports for giving us sports lovers a chance to express our views. There is no gain saying that Ike Uche is the nations best striker, his records at the road to the world cup are there to show for it afterall,Martins is not a regular in his club this is not to say he is not a good player, any other striker like Martins or Obasi can support Uche. And for Yakubu,he should close his big mouth and stop saying he is Nigerias top scorer afterall the record our Ace striker Yekini set for over 13 years is yet to b broken and Samuel Eto’o broke Patrick Mboma’s record even while Mboma was still in acting football.(so please Yakubu, shut your mouth)
I would also like to plead with the coach not to take Nwaneri to the world cup because he is a calamity,he should take someone from the olympic squad instead of that floop. Thanks

super eagles are a lovely team to watch especially when they play at their peak. what lagerback in my own opinion, needs to do is figure out a good combination of youth, skill and experience and this i think will make the team a formidable team. but that doesn’t mean they will win the world cup nor reach the semi-final target, but will surely give a respectable outing at the globe’s biggest football fiesta

My fear is that those thevies at the glass house may dictate for the incumbent coach of the Green Eagles and subsequently become their puppet. The onus is him(Lars) to exhibit his talent, professionalism, and select his without any interference from the Lulu’s led crew

  • Preye wrote on 26 April, 2010, 17:49

If Lagerback collects that huge sum of money from us in the name of salary and still allows the people in the glass house to dictate to him on player selection, then he should just back his bags and return to Sweden. He should be informed that Clemens Westerhof succeeded in this country because he was his own man when it came to player selection. Remember how he sidelined my brother Richard Owubokiri in favour of Yekini who was initially playing in the Portuguese 2nd division even though Richard was 2nd highest goal scorer in Europe at the time.Westerhof stuck to his guns and Yekini responded with goals. It was simply fantastic.

At the same time, I advise that man who know what to do at d right time,i’m talkg of coach Siasia to accompany Lagerback to the world cup, so that the should not listen to anybody in selection of players, coach lagerback should concentrate and focus and I believe good luck will be on his side, but talking of NFF the are all criminals, the new president Jonathan good luck should do something about so called NFF cos the are the people killing our football by bribing money which is not good, which is not done in other countries in the world. sack all so called NFF the are thieves says by me oooooooooooooooooooooh

  • onyenzee wrote on 23 May, 2010, 11:41

NFF are the people killing the nigeria football today, now that we have foreign coach i beg the president Jonathan goodluck to do something about this criminals we have as chairmoney in the country as NFF. For example jose mouriho, is a coach who can not look at your face even if your father is the world chairman or what ever you think you are, as long as you are not fit, or you don’t know how to play football well he will just dump you by the side cos what he need is the cup not your father. So if the country will stop all this bribe the are collecting and face the truth then we can see our country doing very good in football. STOP BRIBE NFF, STOP BRIBE NIGERIANS, STOP BRIBE IS A SHAMEFUL THING TO US OOOOOOOOOOOH
