Congo senior women’s national team coach, Gabriel Dengaki, has admitted that he is not disappointed following his team’s 5-1 humiliation by Nigeria’s Super Falcons in the opening group match of the on-going 11th All Africa Games here in Congo Brazzaville.
Dengaki confessed that the Super Falcons are far better than his team having been hugely experienced following sevefal participations in top grade women competitions across the continent and globe.
“I don’g think there is anything to worry about being beaten by the Falcons. They are highly experienced, they have been to so many championships in Africa and the world so we are not disappointed that they defeated us,” Dengaki told completesportsnigeria.com.
He added that there is still room for improvement for his team.
“Nigeria is a big country in women’s football, they have the players and been involved for a long time.
“We just have to keep improving our game because in everything you do, there is always room for improvement.”
