I want to thank you for the good sport editorial work you have been doing over the years and especially now that the competition is high. I am a regular reader of your daily Complete Sports and want to comment about the lapses I see in the papers. No doubt you bring to us delightful soccer news but its pertinent to note that some of the extracts printed do not convey the intended Heading/Sub-heading. For example: Vol 15, No 033, Sunday October 18, 2009, center page had this sub-heading, “BOMB!, INTER DISGRACE GENOA 5 – 0″ Unfortunately the details did not confirm what every soccer faithful would love to know. I understand extracts are good but where the space is “too small”, it will be better to edit the extract to fit the size and still give readers the expected details. In the above example, it would have been better to name the scorers than writing an incomplete match report. There is also need for proof reading to ensure that the right information is what you pass to us. For instance, a friend of mine quoted Vincenzo Iaquinta as the hat trick scorer in Italy’s win over Cyprus, citing the above edition as evidence (evidently he was just informed from the sunday paper which also quoted Iaquinta as the scorer) but I sure the hat trick scorer for Italy was Fiorentina striker – Alberto Gilardino. We the readers are most times what we read and we depend on your good journalism for sports authority (as most of us do not have access to internet services). Thanks, I will also like to make contributions if its possible.

I look up to your website for the latest information on football in Nigeria. I was hoping to read the match report on the African Champions league final, but was disappointed to find that none was posted. It would be nice also if you could have a complete round-up of the league games with stats on goalscorers, teams etc. Anyway keep up the good work. Best wishes always.

    Dear sir,

Some Algerian press claimed they have carried out an interview with Christopher Katongo, captain of Zambian Football Team and the latter spoke about match-fixing in Zambia’s encounter against Egypt in Lusaka in the 2010 WC qualifier.

Mr. Goerge Kasengele, FAZ Secretary General, vehemently denied that the player have given any interview with any Algerian newspaper.

    He also denied these claims.

The interview was quoted by some notorious French websites and sneaked into African meida.

David Alaba is only 17 but he is the new wonder kid of Bayern Munich.

His mother is from the Philippines, his father from Nigeria, whilst he himself was born in Vienna and

grew up playing for the youth team of Austria Wein. Before he moved to Bayern in 2008 he rejected offers

from Inter Milan and AC Milan when questioned why, he said: “Because Bayern Munich have been the most

interested. When they invited me and showed me the whole area, they gave me the feeling that I can feel

comfortable here and that they will always keep an eye on me.”

Alaba is the youngest player of all time to ever play an official match for Bayern Munich and the

Austrian national team. At the age of 17 years and 112 days he made his debut for Austria. He came on as

a substitute against France in the 80th minute, in the 3-1 defeat against Les Bleus.

It wasn’t just the major European club teams that spotted Alaba. He could also represent Nigeria and

Germany at international level whilst the Philippines were also interested. In an interview with a

German sports magazine in the summer, Alaba said: “There was a request from the Philippines, but Nigeria

have never approached me. And Germany would anyway never been an issue, since I have no connection to

    the country.”

Originally Alaba was a left midfielder but remarkably Bayern Munich head coach Luois van Gaal has used

him in recent games as a left-sided defender. The former Ajax and Barcelona coach, no stranger to young

starlets, said: “He is a left back, although he himself does not consider himself as one.”

On the left wing Alaba can use his great speed and technique to help Bayern’s attack. Alaba is very

skillful with the ball and he can take on players very easily, his passing ability is also very good and

for such a young player he has a good vision of the field. Crucially he has a strong left foot and can

play all along the left flank as a left back, in midfield, or even as a left forward.

Alaba has already shown that despite his young age he is a very mature player. Following an injury to

Diego Contento, Alaba was called up to play against Fiorentina in the second leg of the recent Champions

League tie. Bayern’s chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge praised Alaba, who touched the ball more than

all the other players on the pitch, said: “He played very well and this was his first full game for

    Bayern Munich.”

Van Gaal pronounced himself “very satisfied” with Alabas’ appearance: “He is 17 years old, playing his

first 90 minutes and at this stage, he has looked good and made the opponents’ work hard, his

performance has not lowered my confidence.” Bayern midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger added that “he

    played very well.”

Since his Champions League display, there has been much hype surrounding Alaba. When asked if he has any

weaknesses, he said: “Sure, I have weaknesses. Especially on my right foot, which is not yet at the same

level as the other. Even in the physical area, I have to work. I think I’m not really strong in any

area, I have much to learn.”

When he asked what is he has to do in the long term Alaba said: “I always put my little goals that I

want to achieve step by step. My next goal is to prevail and one day play in the first team. Then I want

to go to England, preferably to Arsenal.”

Next June Alaba will be 18 and he is expected to sign a professional contract for the Bavarian giants.

With van Gaal’s guidance Alaba has the potential to become a huge star, he has the talent to do so but

he needs to grab the opportunity with both hands, if he does so almost all pundits in Germany predict a

    wonderful future in the game.

Since the formation of Complete Sports Readers Club, there has been no exclusive promo by Complete Sports for members of the club. And to think this was one of the reasons why the club was formed in the first place or was it all a ruse. It has been more than a year since it was formed and other than the publishing of the names in Complete Sports, nothing else has been done.

Please, help us as we are afraid after the predict and win 2010 promo in which nI won four times but till now the promoters are not ready to pay all of us winners, is it a scam and 419 fraud? Lest I forget we read it in your bnewspapers! My number I used during the promo is 07068028689. Please help us appeal to the promoters to honour their promises to the winners because next time people will view it as once bitten twice shy and refuse to participate. Thank you.

Get Your Website on the 1st Page of Google, Yahoo and MSN

    Hi Website Administrator,

We are purely organic search SEO Firm; we can get your website on the 1st page of Google, Yahoo and MSN (Bing.com). We can increase your sales at least 4 times. We do not use \”link farms\” or \”black hat\” methods that Google and the other search engines frown upon and can use to de-list or ban your site. The techniques are proprietary, involving some valuable closely held trade secrets. Our prices are less than half of what other companies charge. We can fairly quickly promote your website to the top of the search rankings with no long term contracts! We are working on Guarantee basis.

We would be happy to send you a proposal using the top search phrases for your area of expertise. Please contact me at your convenience so we can start saving you some money.

    Sincerely,
    Angelina Jolly
