Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, has predicted a difficult game for his side against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
After their opening day 2-1 home win against West Ham, Chelsea will hope to make it two wins out of two when they take on the Hornets.
But speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday, Conte stated that his side must be fully focus throughout the game.
“It won’t be an easy game tomorrow because Watford are a solid team with good players,” Conte said.
“We must pay a lot of attention tomorrow. It is a dangerous game. We must send the right message for our confidence and our work.”
Conte praised his players for the win against West Ham, positing that they will only have a good season if they keep the right mentality.
“We played a good game against West Ham with great intensity and concentration. There was a great will to win,” he added:
“We must maintain this mentality and this will to win. It’s important if we want a good season.”
On whether Chelsea will bring in more players before the transfer ends and also the situation with Juan Cuadrado, the former Juventus boss said: “It’s difficult to speak about the transfer policy before a game. I repeat: we are waiting for the right solution to improve.
“For Cuadrado we are waiting. The situation must become more clear about his position. Now he’s Chelsea’s player.”
He also spoke about Diego Costa’s attitude and what he brings to Chelsea.
“We all know Diego. He is a passionate footballer and sometimes it can seem he’s on the edge but he’s a good guy and a good player.
“I am happy with his attitude and behaviour. We know he must pay attention.”
