Chelsea manager Antonio Conte hailed Super Eagles winger Victor Moses for his all-round performance in Chelsea’s 3-0 home win against Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Moses sealed the three points for Chelsea, scoring the third goal following a brilliant exchange of passes between him and Nathaniel Chalobah.
It was Moses’ second league goal of the season after his first came in Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Burnley.
“Moses did well in his defensive and attacking work,” Conte said in his post-match reaction.
The former Juventus boss went on to praise the rest of the Chelsea players while dedicating the win to Willian who lost his mother during the week.
“I compare his performance to that of Marcos Alonso who has more experience there,” Conte said.
“We played a very good game in the first half. High intensity with good passing to find the strikers in space.
“We did well in winning the ball back. I’m happy with the players.”
“I didn’t look calm during the game because I know in English football, a 2-0 lead may not be enough.
“I dedicate today’s win to Willian who is on compassionate leave.”
