Cuper: Eagles Form Doesn’t Bother Egypt

Egypt manager Hector Cuper has submitted that Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Chad doesn’t concern him.

Cuper led Egypt to a 3-0 Cup of Nations qualifying win over Tanazania in his first game in charge on Sunday and the Argentinean boss revealed that it was too early to lose sleep over the 2013 AFCON winners’ home win over the Le Sao.

“Nigeria’s win doesn’t concern me at all; it’s still early to talk about our game with Nigeria,” Cuper said in the post-match press conference after the Tanzania win.

The eight-time African champions Egypt, who missed out on the last three Cup of Nations editions, face Chad in their next game in September while Nigeria travel to Dar-Es-Salaam to keep a date with Tanzania in the second round of matches in Group G.
