Super Falcons coach, Chris Danjuma has commended his girls’ 100% run so far at the 11th All Africa Games women’s football event here in Congo Brazzaville, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Danjuma said after his team’s 3-0 defeat of East Africans Tanzania on Wednesday inside the Massamba Stadium, Diata, that having chalked up six points from two group games, the players have made the job of progressing to the semi-finals easy.
“I’m happy that we won, we have picked the semi-final ticket and that reduces the load going into the last group game against Ivory Coast on Saturday,” Danjuma told Completesportsnigeria.com.
He added: “We wait for the last game against Ivory Coast and see what happens.
“The girls have done well so far and we just hope the concentration level remains till the end”.
The former Plateau United and Mighty Jets star insisted that the team’s ambition at the Congo 2015 All Africa Games remains unchanged.
“Before coming here, we have in mind to win the gold medal and that objective has not changed,” Danjuma said.Jiji.ng the cheapest online shopping in Nigeria
