Kwara United new boy, Emmanuel Amungwa, has told completesportsnigeria.com that he is delighted to have opened his goal account for the club.
The Camerounian scored on his debut for the Harmony Boys on Sunday in their 3-1 win against Rangers of International.
The attacking midfielder who linked up with the Ilorin-based outfit from Bomber FC Academy of Kaduna stated that he looks forward to helping his side do well in the league this season.
''I am happy to get a goal in my first game for Kwara United," he said in a chat with completesportsnigeria.com.
"Before the game, I was not sure I would be playing, but I thank God everything went well.
"To score your debut goal against a big clubside like Rangers is worth celebrating and I thank God for making it possible.
"I just hope my performance will be good. enough to help the club achieve something great at the end of the season."
Kwara United will face Akwa United in Uyo on Wednesday in a Glo Premier League week 12 encounter.
