Dike Celebrates Sister’s Inclusion In World Cup Squad

Super Eagles and Toronto FC forward Bright Dike has expressed his delight following the inclusion of his sister, Courtney, in the final squad of the Super Falcons to the FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.

Courtney, who featured for the Falconets at last year's U-20 World Cup in Canada, was selected alongside 22 other players for the tournament by coach Edwin Okon.

Dike wrote on his Twitter handle on Wednesday, moments after the final squad of announced: "Huuuge congratulations to my sister @CourtneyDike for officially making the Nigeria World Cup squad.  Sooooo proud!!!"

Also Portsmouth FC Ladies have congratulated Ini-Abasi Umotong for making the Falcons final squad for the World Cup.

The club wrote on their official twitter page: "We are delighted to announce that Ini umotong will represent Nigeria at the World Cup in Canada WELL DONE INI WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!"

Meanwhile other notable names in the squad are Asisat Oshoala, Desire Oparanozie, Perpetual Nkwocha, Francisca Ordega, Precious Dede amongst others.
