Dosu Plays Down Nigeria U-23s’ Loss To Denmark

By James Agberebi:
Former Nigeria international Joseph Dosu has played down the U-23 Eagles 6-2 loss to Denmark on Saturday, at the Suwon Invitational Tournament in South Korea.

It was the team's second loss of the tournament after earlier going down 1-0 to hosts South Korea.

In a chat with Completesportsnigeria.com, Dosu posited that the tournament will give the coaching crew the chance to make corrections ahead of the Olympic Games in Rio.

"It's just a friendly game," Dosu told Completesportsnigeria.com

"It will make the coach to carry out corrections, make changes or still stick with this set of players.

"We (1996 Atlanta Olympics team) never had the opportunity to travel to an invitational tournament. We went straight to the Olympic Games. But all said and done, like I said, it's just a friendly game and I believe corrections will be made," Dosu reiterated.

The U-23 Eagles will take on Honduras on Monday in their final game of the tournament.
