Super Eagles assistant coach, Jean Francois Loscuito, has told Completesportsnigeria.com that the side must be at their best to beat Egypt in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations double header next month.
The Eagles trail the North Africans by two points in Group G of the qualifying series for Gabon 2017.
They host the Pharaohs in the first leg on Friday, March 25 at the Abuja National Stadium, with the return fixture billed for Cairo on Tuesday, March 29.
The Belgian insisted Hector Cuper’s men are beatable, but warned that the Eagles must be willing to give their all in the game.
“Egypt is a tough side, to beat them we must be ready to give our all,” Loscuito told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“We expect a tough game against them, but they are beatable.
“They are our main rivals in the group and if we get the desired results in both games, then we can be sure of making it to Gabon.”
Nigeria failed to qualify for the last edition of AFCON in Equatorial Guinea after winning the previous edition in South Africa.
