As part of preparations towards the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the Golden Eaglets defeated Calabar-based Villa View Hotels FC 5-2 on Wednesday.
The game, which is the team’s 44th domestic game so far, took place inside the Karkanda Stadium in Katsina.

He added that the team still need more top friendly matches to ascertain their readiness for the task ahead.
Goalkeeper trainer of the team, Emeka Amadi, who happens to be celebrating his 43rd birthday, hailed the players for a good performance.
“I am really happy with the performance of our boys and for giving me a good birthday present,” he told nff.com.
“We (technical crew) are very impressed because the players were able to express and translate some of the things they have learnt in practice and this was a good match.”Jiji.ng the cheapest online shopping in Nigeria.
