Esperance of Tunisia forward, Emem Eduok, has alerted that the Super Eagles must prevent Egypt from playing their trademark possession game if they must outwit the stubborn north Africans in next year's 2017 AFCON qualifiers double header.
In an exclusive chat with Completesportsnigeria.com, Eduok also stated that the Eagles must target outright victory in both legs of the qualifier against Pharaohs.
"The Egyptians are very good as a team. And the only way we can stop them is not to allow them have possession of the ball because they are very good with it.
"We have to win against the them in order to be ahead of them. And winning both in Nigeria and in Cairo will be a great result for us," Eduok, a former Dolphins player told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Eduok stated further that the draw against Tanzania was not a bad result. He also revealed that injury ruled him out in the friendly game against Niger Republic.
"The one point we got against Tanzania was not bad for us because it keeps our hope of qualifying alive."
"I couldn't feature in the game against Niger Republic because of injury but I am getting better now," Eduok said.
