Eguavoen who led the Super Eagles to the 2006 African Cup of Nations in Egypt said the players still have a lot more to do while advising them to be disciplined focused and listen to whatever instructions the coaches are giving them.
“It was a good start and with the 2-0 win over Niger in the first game, I am sure that the players’ confidence will rise and they will be ready to face any team. I must also commend the coaches for the good job and tell them that we are waiting for the trophy”, says Eguavoen.
“And for the players, they should realize that they have not done anything, they are just starting and they need to be disciplined, focused and listen very well to everything the coaches are teaching them.
