Egypt Coach, Cuper Unveils Squad For Eagles Clash

Egypt coach, Hector Cuper has announced his full squad for the crucial 2017 Africa Cup of Nations double header against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, ‎reports.

The Argentine gaffer previously announced a five-man list of overseas-based players which included AS Roma of Italy winger, Mohamed Salah, Ahmed 'Kouka' Hassan, Amr Warda, Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan and Mohamed Elneny.

In the latest list are nine players from Zamalek, while seven of the players are from Al Ahly.

Veteran goalkeeper, Essam El- Hadary is also included in the squad.

The Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna will host the first leg of the qualifiers on March 25.

The return fixture is billed for Alexandria four days later.

Egypt who have missed the last three editions of AFCON top Group G of the qualifiers with six points. Nigeria, on two points, are placed second.

Midfielders: Abdallah El Said, Hossam Ghaly, Ramadan Sobhy (Al Ahly), Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet' (Anderlecht), Mohammed Elneny (Arsenal FC), Amr Warda (Panetolikos), Ibrahim Salah (Smouha), Ayman Hefny, Mostafa Fathi, Tarek Hamed (Zamalek)
