The only goal of the game was scored by Ahmed Samir in the 18th minute.
On Friday, Egypt will take on fellow North African side, Libya, in the second international friendly game.
The friendly matches are part of preparation for Egypt’s encounters with Nigeria in the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers in March.
Meanwhile, according to kingfut.com, Egypt manager Héctor Cúper is scheduled to hold a press conference next week, where he is expected to reveal his plans for the national team ahead of the upcoming clashes against Nigeria.
