Veteran Egypt goalkeeper, Essam El-Hadary, has been ruled out of Friday’s crucial 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Nigeria, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The 42- year-old, Completesportsnigeria.com, learnt suffered a muscle injury in his side’s first training session in Kaduna on Tuesday.
Head coach of the side, Hector Cuper, will have to decide who will man the post between Ahmed El- Shennawy and Mohammed El- Shennawy against the Super Eagles.
El-Hadary is second member of the side to be ruled of the game after injury also stopped Mostafa Fathi from travelling with the team to Nigeria.
The match will kick off at 5pm Nigerian time at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
