Ekpai joins Maccabi Haifa From Akwa United

Akwa United forward, Ubong Ekpai, has joined Israeli club, Maccabi Haifa, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The former Kano Pillars striker Completesportsnigeria.com scooped passed his medicals at the club on Wednesday and has already put pen to paper with  details of the contract not yet released.

Ekpai has scored four goals for Akwa United in the Nigeria Professional Football League this season.

He rejoined the club at the start of the present campaign after spending two seasons with former NPFL champions Kano Pillars.

He recently scored the winning goal  for the Nigeria U-23 side in their 1-0 win against Brazil in a friendly encounter.
