Former Nigeria international, Friday Ekpo, has stated that the Super Eagles’ lack of a proper game plan contributed to their lackluster 0-0 draw against Tanzania.
Reacting after the match on Saturday, Ekpo told Completesportsnigeria.com: “They (Eagles) should have done more by playing their own style. I believe they would have done better if they had stuck to their own plan.
“They were playing like the Tanzanians. They didn’t settle down to know who and what kind of team the Tanzanians were.
“Let’s see what will happens when they play their next game,” an utterly disappointed Ekpo told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Ekpo however said that four points from two games is not bad for the Eagles.
“Four points from two games is not bad. If we had lost, it would have been three points from two games.
“We just need to do more to make sure we get the necessary points in order to have the edge over the other teams.”Jiji.ng the cheapest online shopping in Nigeria.
