By James Agberebi:
England-based Nigerian boxer Larry Ekundayo will take on Dale Evans in a British Welterweight title eliminator bout to mark the 5th anniversary show of Goodwin Boxing.
Tagged the “Ultimate Glory” and one of the joint top of the bill fight, the bout between Ekundayo and Evans is expected to come up March 14, 2015.
Described as one of the talented and avoided boxers in Britain, Ekundayo is yet to taste defeat in eight professional fights.
After winning Prizefighter in 2012, Ekundayo only had one professional bout in the 18 months afterwards.
And after teaming up with Ben Gray and Steve Goodwin (Promoter/Manager), Ekundayo had two bouts culminating in winning the international Masters title at York Hall in October 2014.
On his part, Evans has 12 fights under his belt, with one defeat and two draws.
