Emenike Ends 10 Game Goal Drought

Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Emenike ended his ten game goal drought for Fenerbache who defeated Bursaspor 2-1 in the Turkish Cup semi-final first leg at the Atatürk Stadium.

The 27 year old Nigerian striker who played only three minutes of his side’s 1-1 draw away at Eskisehirspor at the weekend gave his side the lead in the 26th minute with a well timed run and great finish.

The former Spartak Moscow star was replaced in the 79th minute by Moussa Sow.

Fernando Belluschi restored parity for the hosts before Bruno Alves’ thunderbolt free-kick sealed the tie.
