Tottenham target Emmanuel Emenike has arrived in London. The Fenerbahçe striker has been closely linked with a move to the North London club but his agent Erdem Konyar claims that Emenike is only in London for a holiday.
“I grew up in London, I spent new years here with my family and Emenike has now arrived to spend some time with me as well,” Konyar told Radyospor.
“We just spoke about how he is doing at the club. “He is just on a short holiday, we have not have any direct talks with other clubs. “I would not conspire behind the back of Fenerbahçe, if they want to sell Emenike however, we will enter negotiations as there are a number of clubs interested. “There have not been any official bids as far as I know but the clubs may be in contract with each other.”
Emenike has reportedly have fallen out of favour with Fenerbahçe manager Ismail Kartal.
Konyar also revealed that Spurs are interested in Emenike and admitted that he could enter talks with the Premier League outfit if Fenerbahçe give the green light.
“Tottenham only really have one striker right now so it is not a surprise that they are interested,” Konyar said.
“However, I do not think Fenerbahçe have received an official bid yet. “I personally have not entered talks with Tottenham yet. “However, if Fenerbahçe give us permission we could enter negotiations.” The Nigerian international has two goals and three assists in 15 appearances for the Yellow Canaries this season.
