Former Nigerian international Emmanuel Emenike will work under a new coach at Turkish side Fenerbache in the new season after the club parted company with former coach Victor Pereira on Thursday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Pereira was sacked following Fenerbache's exit from the Champions League at the hands of French side AS Monaco.
He spent only one season with the club, failing to replicate his success with Greek side Olympiakos and Portuguese club FC Porto.
Last season, Fenerbache finished second behind Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig and also lost in the final of the Turkish Cup to Galatasary.
The club is expected to unveil a new manager in the coming days.
Emenike is back at the club after spending last season on loan with United Arab Emirates side, Al Ain, and English Premier League club West Ham United.
