Also joining Enyeama to donate to the children in need was CSKA Moscow of Russia striker, Ahmed Musa, who made a N500,000 pledge to the orphanage home.
Complete Sports can also report that the money, according to officials of the Nigeria Football Federation is for the orphanage home to spend in helping the children to acquire education. Aside the money donated to the home, the players also jointly donated food items to the home as a way of giving them sense of belonging in the society.
Reacting after the donation, Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, told Complete Sports that the move shows that the players have not forgotten their fellow Nigerians.
“This is one of the things God loves, giving to the needy. By donating to the orphanage home, it shows that the Super Eagles have not forgotten their fellow Nigerians. I can only pray that God continues to help the players so that they can do more in future.
