Lille of France first choice goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama will be looking to erase the haunting memories of last weekend’s loss to PSG when they play host to Lens at the 50,157-capacity Stade Pierre-Mauroy tomorrow. Enyeama was forced to pick the ball from his own net six times last weekend as league leaders PSG pummelled Lille 6-1 which happened to be the first time the goalkeeper and the club will be conceeding six goals in a game in 30 years.
To put the disappointment of that humiliating loss behind them, Enyeama and Lille will be looking to pacify their fans by returning to winning ways against Lens. And beating Lens shouldn’t pose a much too difficult task to Lille considering that their opponent this term are the bottom-placed team haunted by relegation.
24 points currently separate the two sides with Lille having 50 points to sit 8th on the league table while weeping team Lens are starring at imminent relegation in the face having only 26 points after 34 rounds of games.
Enyeama personally will be looking to have a clean sheet in tomorrow’s outing.
