Enyimba captain Chinedu Udoji is confident the club will secure a berth in the final of the Federation Cup at the expense of Nasarawa United, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Peoples Elephant will take on Kabiru Dogo's men in the semi-final of the competition on Saturday at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.
The former champions who had a disappointing campaign in the Nigeria Professional Football League are looking to end their season on a positive note.
However, despite their struggles this season Udoji is upbeat Enyimba will beat the Solid Miners and make it to their sixth final in eight seasons.
"We are fired up for the game against Nasarawa United and I'm confident we will book our spot in the final," the former FC Abuja centre-back told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"The Federation Cup is our last hope of winning a trophy this season and we will give our all to make sure we make it to the final and also win it.
"Nasarawa United will be determined to go through too as they will be looking to end the season with a silverware.
"They also have some quality players which makes them a difficult opponent but I hope in the end we will do enough to make it to the final."
The winner of the tie will face FC IfeanyiUbah in the final on a yet to be decided date and venue.
