Enyimba goalkeeper, Femi Thomas, insists the title race is still wide open despite his side enjoying a five-point advantage over their closest challengers, Giwa FC.
The Peoples Elephant beat Kwara United 1-0 at home on Wednesday to boost their chances of securing a historic seventh Glo Premier League title.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper has however warned his teammates there is still a lot to fight for before the end of the campaign.
"I don't believe the title race is over like some people are saying," he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"We still have three important games to play and must take those games seriously as our rivals will do everything they can to upstage us.
"The win against Kwara United has put us in a very good position, but we have to keep working hard until we win the title."
The six- time champions face local rivals, Abia Warriors, in their next match on Sunday in Umuahia.
