Enyimba Players Quit NPFL All-Stars Camp, Off To Cairo

By Adeboye Amosu:

Five players from Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Enyimba, have been released from the NPFL All-Stars camp in Cadiz, Spain and have departed for Cairo ahead of this weekend’s decisive CAF Champions League Group B clash against Zamalek Football Club of Egypt, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The players are Chinedu Udoji, who is the captain of Enyimba, Dare Ojo, Joseph Osadiaye, Chima Akas and goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai.
Udoji, Akas, Osadiaye and Ojo started for the All-Stars in Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat against Valencia, while Afelokhai stayed on the bench for the whole game.
They will now miss the rest of the tour which will end on Sunday.
Enyimba must win the game to boost their chances of making it to the semi-finals after failing to record a win in their first two games.
