Enyimba’s Ojo Happy Winless Streak Is Over, Eyes Sundowns Win

By Adeboye Amosu:

Enyimba midfielder Dare Ojo is relieved to see his side end their four-game winless streak in the Nigeria Professional Football League, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The former Kwara United player scored the winning goal as the Peoples Elephant defeated their local rivals Abia Warriors 1-0 in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
Ojo said the win will boost the morale of the side ahead of Wednesday’s crucial CAF Champions League matchday two fixture against South African side, Mamelodi Sundowns.
“It’s big relief to win a game after what we went through in the last couple of weeks,” Ojo told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“It’s been really tough for us playing four games in the NPFL without winning and also losing our first game in the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
“We hope to build on this win and beat Sundowns in our next game.”
