Enyimba’s Osadiaye: We Must Beat Sundowns For Pride

By Adeboye Amosu:

Enyimba winger, Joseph Osadiaye, says the side will go all out for a win in Tuesday's CAF Champions League fixture against South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns despite their ouster from the competition, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The Peoples Elephant who won the competition in 2003 and 2004 have endured a torrid campaign this time around, having failed to pick a point in the group stages.

They have lost all three games in the group stages and have nothing but pride to play for when they confront the Brazilians in Port Harcourt.

And Osadiayside. e reckoned it is important for them to ensure they finish the competition on a high by picking a win against the Absa Premiership

"The game against Sundowns is not going to change anything for us but we have to fight and make sure we bow of the competition with a win," the former Warri Wolves player told Completesportsnigeria.com.

"It's disappointing that we have no chance to progress further in the competition but we have to learn from our mistakes and do better in future.

"I just hope we get the chance to play on the continent next season."
