Come at me if you like, but I’m happy the Chavs won that game against Manchester United.
Look people, Chelsea were 7 points ahead with a game in hand, that’s like two and a halfgames; Manchester United where right on our tails with one point difference and the same amount of games played.
What was the probability of us catching up with Chelsea and beating them on goal difference compared to playing well, holding on to 2nd place and winning the FA Cup?
Like I said, I’m a positive realist and I’ll take every point I can get. 2nd and an FA Cup sounds good to me this season, considering how we started it.
Now, back to the EPL team of the week;
In goal, Kasper Schmeichel did brilliantly as Leicester beat Swansea 2-1. The dude kept a clean sheet and looked solid between the sticks.
In defense, Ivanovic was solid at the back as Chelsea beat Manchester United 1-0. The dude wasn’t afraid to run into Roo andmade Falcao look pretty ordinary. Lil’ JT aka John Terry was tidy in defense and also kept Manchester United’s attacking players quiet. On the other hand, the revelation of the season at Manchester United, Paddy Mc Nair was pretty good at the back for United and earned himself a spot on the list this week. And so did Luke Shawwho was a major threat down the left for United.
In midfield, we had Christian Eriksen for Sp*
In attack, Harry Kane, saviour of the Sp*ds, scored his 20th goal against Newcastle whileLord of the Kun (Aguero) sunk West Ham with his talisman-ic goal.
