U-23 Eagles striker, Oghenekaro Etebo says the side have now shifted their attention to Saturday's Africa U-23 Nations Cup final fixture against Algeria following Wednesday's semi-final victory against Senegal, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Warri Wolves forward converted a penalty in the second half of the game as Samson Siasia's men eased to a 1-0 win against the hosts who missed several goalscoring chances, including a first half penalty in the encounter at the Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium.
Nigeria along with fellow finalists, Algeria are already assured of a place in the football event of the Rio 2016 Olympics, but both side's still have to fight for the title.
And Etebo, who stood in for the suspended skipper of the side, Azubuike Okechukwu against Senegal said winning the trophy is now the team's focus after booking their ticket to the Olympics.
"We have achieved our number one objective which is to qualify for the Olympics," Etebo told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"Now, we have a chance of becoming the best side at this level in Africa, hopefully we will beat Algeria on Saturday."
